The daytona 200 was like a slow-motion trainwreck. Ugly to see & you feel bad for those involved, but it was hard to look away...and the ending was great!
I'm sure the protests were hot & heavy after Disalvo won using the engine from his back-up bike. Props to the team for thinking on their feet and getting it done! Unexpected situation, but totally legal per the rulebook.
I think it was Dunlop that screwed the pooch, by not having a durable front tire. AMA had no choice but to stop the race when the sole tire supplier admitted that the tires everyone were using wouldn't hold up. WTF?
The last dozen laps were just crazy...I sure am glad everyone was able to walk away.
I was happy not to have to listen to Ralph Sheheen, he was off annoying the supercross fans. I wish Speed would use Jason Pridmore more often. He can actually communicate!
