The Open Class is an additional class for unlicensed riders the riders such as your AFMers can not race in this class. The unlicensed riders can also race in the other classes such as Superbike 600cc and 1000cc. This class is an extra money race. I will have complete details shortly with a link. Thanks for reading my post. Doesn't sound that way to me. I understand your concerns, all unlicensed riders must go through a certification with our certified instructors to race in our series which will be included in the price. All certified riders will be wearing vests over their leathers so that they can be identified for the licensed riders. This is not something new to the racing arena, this type of event has been around for years, (in fact supermoto USA did this at RFR last year) as well as the risks are no different then standard licensed racing. Details on everything will be revealed this friday as we are closing up the lose ends. I completely understand where you are coming from and your safety comes first. |

Wasn't there a division of supermoto at GSR for unlicensed competitors?

Ok. Interesting.... Looking forward to finding out the details.
Its great to see this being tried at the track. More riding and racing is good for the track and can only help get it back to being used regularly and maybe some improvements down the road!!

I did send my money in it AFM after my NRS yet. I also thought of sand bagging. I would be fun thought. Untill Steve does the same thing.
