it depends. sometimes there are some baggers in "C" that ride pretty fast. Then there are some that ride REALLY slow. So it is a mix. If you feel you are too fast for C you can move up during the day no problem.

C varies day to day. Depends on how many first timers that day.
You can always start in C and move up.

So is the track configuration decided yet? As I've never been to RFRT, knowing the set up will allow me to view some videos or read pointers available on the web in advance.
Thanks!

And thank you also dub - informative link. Yo Gangplank - is the following still a "GO"? If so, what time should we roll up...(aren't they're drags that afternoon/evening) And the track is open on Friday afternoon for us to take a slow ride around to discuss markers, turns, set up cones, etc!!
So for all whom can come out early Friday we can take a ride around to discuss!!

That the was the plan - we were hoping to be able to ride the track really slowly and be able to go over markers, etc. With the Hot August Nights Drags that may have changed. I'll find out and post up soon as I get in touch with the track....
A number of us will be headed out Friday afternoon. Planning to get there around 1 or 2 myself. My hope is that we can still do this.
Gates will be open early afternoon Friday for our camping. If they ask you to pay for the Drags just let them know you are here for the trackday and it should not be a problem to get in without having to pay. We may have to camp further up the paddock than we are used to for Friday night so that the drags have room for their pits. You can always move after or Saturday morning.
See you at the track.

Cool deal. We will stop by the track when we get in to town to see what's up...but since I'm old and a sissy ;D, we'll be staying at a motel in town.
