Hi all! New member to the board. Just moved here from the east coast. Well, I showed up here - still waiting for the family and all my stuff to catch up. Looking forward to hitting the left coast tracks. If there's any GDC members here then maybe you saw my Reno 911 post.

Thanks guys. GDC is a suzuki board g----- dot com. Thought there might be some crossover members. There may be but they don't check the newb section.
Looking forward to RFR, but I don't know when I'll get there. I'm waiting on all my stuff to get here from Pennsylvania. The good news is the track season is a lot longer out here.

Welcome to the area, lots of great riding. I heard a rummor, the east coast guys tend to be slower. I am glad you are here and not starting anything east coast west coast thing. You will have to show up and clue us in on this. The rummor comes from a member from the east coast too.

I guarantee you I'm slower! I'm probably not the best barometer to use, though. I've still got training wheels. I'll be the rolling roadcone in my group - simply there to make the slower riders feel better about their abilities.
As a general rule it wouldn't surprise me though. Tracks back east tend to be smaller and tighter and our riding season is much shorter until you get into the southland. Some of the ultra fast sweepers and long straights out here will take some time to get my nerve up.
No east/west thing for me. Just different - and variety is a good thing.

Tight track, few bumps, ... You'll feel right at home at RFR. It's fun. Lots of shifting...
