Sleep well the night before... You will see how hard that is! And yeah, Try to get there as early as possible, especially if you have never been there. I found getting there at 7ish a very good thing to do, cause you can set up your bike (in case you drive yours like I did with mine), get to know people as they arrive, do the registration and tech sooner and enjoy all the nice rides that you will see passing by your eyes! Then go for the sighting laps, and anxiously wait till it is 9:40...oh boy I just had goose bumps! ;D ;D And, seriously, have fun!
Try learning one thing at a time, trust me, as experienced as you might be on the streets, there is a loooot of stuff to look for on the track! You'll feel it!

Dub, come find me in the morning. Will do. Are you camping at the track? If so I'll see you Saturday night. ...Have a fire extinguisher a few steps away from your bike in your pit area.... I just read this and suddenly realized that I don't own any fire extinguishers. Not in my house or my car. Huh. I should probably do something about that... Thanks for the other tips too.
