Hey Guys,
I thought I would create a new thread once is kinda almost there so...
I might be able to attend to this trackday, but this would include pretty much three things working together and that's why I am here, to see if I can make it happen...
The first one is:
1) Can someone go for the track without the rear brake? Everything is there and tight besides the master cylinder. I am asking this because I rode the whole day last June without stepping on the rear brake. But if still, this is a safety issue, I will understand...
2) If the answer for the first question is yes. Would somebody have a spare tank bracket (the one that ties the tank to the rear-sub frame) that I can "borrow"?? I ordered it last Friday but it will only get here next Tuesday.
3) If both questions get an Yes as an answer, would anybody have a spot for one more bike for Sunday?? This might be the hardest one once I guess almost everybody is camping or staying over there over night!! ;D
I know it is a lot, but i guess it wouldnt harm to ask, right? So if it can happen, i will go, if not, that's fine too (actually it's not, but what can I do right? ;D)
Thanks!

I think myron should answer 1. I don't know about an extra tank bracket? what is year is your R6? If the frist two go over well I am sure we can arrange to get you out there.

It sucks cause if this packaged had arrived, I would be good to go. The package also contains the joint that is missing for my brake, so I could put the master cylinder back in there... Damn! Alright, I hope to get some good news tomorrow...

I have never ridden with this group, but I have done NESBA, STT, Apex, etc and everybody I have known requires a functioning rear brake. If you were to have an off track excursion the rear brake is what you should to stop you.

exactly right. off track with no rear brake is a very bad thing
I'd check with Steve 2wcp. He makes magic happens sometimes

1. You must have a functioning rear brake. Very few people use it on the track but you will need it if you have an off track excursion. It's a safety issue.
2. Like Justino said, talk with Steve at 2wcp, he might be able to make something work. He might also have a spare rear master cylinder lying around also.
3. If you can go and need a ride someone will be able to help you out. If you are in the Reno/Sparks area I can give you a ride.

Thanks for all the replies guys, But I guess (You GUESS???) it will be too much to deal with right before the track. I still need to change my front tire. I was too excited about going to the track again that I got a little of my mind. At least I learned what to do if running out of the track! ;D ;D I hope this weekend goes reeeally smooth so you guys can keep organizing it and I leave my word here that I will make the next one for sure. I'll even go for the double session! (Till someone knock me out of the B group ) Have fun out there my friends!
