I had a similar problem on my bike... Had to push start it more than once. Just ask Chad. My problem was the stator. It was old and the contacts inside had gotten really dirty. Cleaned them up and worked like new... until one of the contacts came off and got chewed up inside the stator because i didn't put it back exactly right If you need a voltmeter i have one, and i can bring it by bike night or something. Let me know

Ok well I just trickle charged the battery today. I started it up to make sure it started, now I'm going to leave it over night and try and start it before my msf class in the morning. Then again when I get home.. But i wont ride it. If I can find a way to get it to steve on tuesday, I will take it there.

a multi-meter is always a handy thing to have around the house. I use mine constantly.
+1 on Harbor Freight. I got a cheapo there and it works great for general use.

Do I unhook the battery when I test it? or just test it on the bike?
