I found out how those sneaky 2 for 1's work after scoring one and using it at the last ssa track day. When you want to use one, the assumed price per day goes from the 'pre registration price' of 125 to 'normal price' of 160; paying 80 per day instead of 62.50(125/2=62.50) of you were to split it. When i asked what the deal with that was, I was told the ssa can't afford to give you two track days or let 2 people ride per day for just 62.50 per day or per rider

$80 is approximately what the track takes of the ticket price. Anything above that is profit for SSA, or is used to cover the 10-15 people who do not pay to ride and other expenses such as buying water, breakfast rolls, fruit etc.

The money that we charge also supports a few people that do not pay to ride, namely the vendors. The Vendors ride for free so that the events are attractive enough to assure their attendance. Steve from 2wcp, Jason from JPH suspension, 4theRiders, and Brian from SPL. ---They do not have to pay to ride-- We pay for them. All of the monitors, control riders, registration team, tech inspectors, club official and track committee members all pay to ride.

i don't know for sure, since that's their event, but the SSA has done $125 days all year long. $160 day of the event. Someone correct me if i have that wrong. I believe you are correct sir. Josh (chickenstrip) I'll be mounting a couple of "Gnocchi (potato dumpling) launchers" on the back of the Duc....the sauce will be....blood red tomato ;D I am there on Friday after I drop my son to school; prolly 8:15

Our vendor do not pay also.

I am going to go to the trackday on the 19th. Guess I'll be showing up day of since I get some weird error everytime I try to go to the SSA site.
Anyone else going on the 18th and want to meet up? What about all the fast-guy racers who won the 2 for 1s?
