Wow, I did a pretty poor job of mingling on Monday. I didn't meet Bill or Ronin.

I can understand not meeting me (being the shy and retiring sort that I am) but if I'm not mistaken Ronin showed up a channeled 1940's rat-rod Ford pickup with no license plate and was introduced to those in the parking lot when he arrrived as a Carson City Deputy Sheriff -- with a special interest in rapid ridin' bikers (being one himself). He might also be a MSF instructor; but I was busy checking my tail and stop lights after hearing the deputy sheriff part and might have that wrong.

So if he shows up to a Sunday ride on a big BMW with red and blue lights going... not a good sign. On the flip side of that, I would love to see one go around RFRT. Probably pass me on turn 2

He doesn't post here, and rarely on SSA anymore. He has instructed some track days and is a really super nice guy. Ronin is a Marine, and was wearing the ball cap. His wife was blond and both his kids were pre-teen/teen. If my old timers brain didn't fail me, his name is Alex. We'll get name tags next time LOL

Mike is a good guy, and he's a talented rider and airbrush guy. I'm not sure if he does airbrushing but I have seen his work on gas tanks, helmets, etc. WOW.
