Most of your bike was made in japan. Just not assembled there. The thing with the buell is that it is just different, we all really like it. We point out the HD thing and that is what is hard to get over. You like it and that is all that matters.

I can tell you that we all hate what Harley Davidson has done to Eric Buell, and to the brand.

You like it and that is all that matters. every time i go into the HD dealership i find myself more and more disgusted by the types of riders that go in there either for bikes or parts. i keep thinking in the back of my mind that southpark episode about harley faaaaggggs. its annoying to go in there to buy go fast parts when you have to park next to a bike with 3 foot tassles hanging off the handlebars. i, too, dislike its ties to harley... and im hopeful that in the future we can see buell engineering without having the guys legs shackled to the sole motor company that makes the rest of the 2 wheeled world look like loud pipe using, skulldana wearing douchebags. |

now that erik buell is out of harleys hands he can let his imagination go and it looks like its in the right direction that bike looks great wonder if it will come to fruition or just a one off

now that erik buell is out of harleys hands he can let his imagination go and it looks like its in the right direction that bike looks great wonder if it will come to fruition or just a one off probably depends on a whole slew of factors... however in order to keep racing buells in the AMA, im fairly certain that youve got to have a production bike based on said race bike... i wouldnt be surprised if you can pick up a 1190 RS some time next year... for a very premium price tag. |
