I'm planning for Sunday provided I can afford a new set of tires, Saturday is my daughter's birthday so no track for me that day.

Super cool development: During registration, each rider will be issued SBK-Bucks !!! I know what you are thinking... Awesome! . . .but what are SBK-Bucks?
SBKBucks are like money. It's a voucher worth $10 to any of our moto-vendors, and $5 at the BBQ Pit (lunch truck) You give 'em the voucher, get what you need, they give you the discount.
Are they good for photos? Yup! How about mounting tires? Sure! How about axle sliders? You bet!
Yet another way SBK has got you covered

clarification: Yes, I should have said "worth $10 to our moto-vendors, OR $5 at the lunch truck. It seems silly to have to write that they aren't redeemable for cash, but they can't be combined. Only one can be used per person. It can only be used on the day of the event received. Scenario: . . .Four friends give me their SBKBucks. . . I couldn't approach 4theRiders, be charged $40 per disc, hand 'em five of these voucher and ask him for $10 in change... (as much as I'd like to )

Usage of SSA 2:1's We anticipate that there will be some riders showing up unaware of any scheduling changes and some may intend on using the SSA 2:1 certificate. We don't want to be in the position of turning people around or saying 'no' It would make people frustrated, us look bad, the other club look bad, too. . . Bad for Reno motorcycling and bad for the sport in general.
The club has decided to accept them at face value, AND allow the bearer to retain the 2:1's for redemption with the SSA. ($160 gets you two days of riding, or a pair of riders out for the day. . .BUT you can keep the certificate)
It makes no sense to accept them from some riders and not for others, so if you have one you need to use, bring it. If you have one you're planning on using the end of the month with them, use it twice. SBK's doing our best to keep it fair and simple for everyone.

We will be at the track Saturday night, but no extra accommodations. We may be able to put you up at our house Friday night and then we are headed out early Saturday morning from Minden, about and hour and a half drive... We may have room in our trailer for another bike. I would need to check with Allen. He may not be taking his, since he really isn't able to ride.

Just figured out that this weekend of Oct. 8, 9 & 10 will be the last chance to ride C configuration for the season. TTP race weekend and track day later in the month is running F config at the track. They are making improvementts and putting in a tire wall to make it safe. Great news to see it run in another configuration. Might give us options to run next season with these and/or a few more improvements. So come on out and get your C-config on Oct. 8, 9, & 10. It's the last chance for C-style romance in 2010.
