ya know... i'd LOVE to go..but i'm just to damn broke!!! T-Hill is a really top end course isn't it? So my lil 650 wouldn't be to great...? I rode my 650 there when I had it. Would have loved to take it there again. Sure there are some wide open sections where you can't keep up with the higher HP bikes but most of T-hill is big sweeping corners and you can really rail on a 650. You should make it buddy. It's going to be an epic day.

I saw in previous page that tech req. were the same as RFR. I assume that coolant is acceptable. Correct me if I'm wrong.

THill does not allow coolant from all the times I have been there. Makes it hard sometimes to get your bike there depending on time of year. In years past, and this is a tip from zoran, run your bike before you go over the pass. I've heard some people who have their bike in the back of their truck running the engine all the way over the hill.

Thill does allow coolant. Z2 does not. To my knowledge z2 is the only provider that does not allow coolant. All local tracks currently leave it up to the provider to make the call.

ok.My bad. Thought the providers followed track rules, and I had only ridden thill with Z2.

you mean to tell me that- to ride on that track you can only use water and no antifreeze? what would be the advantage or disadvantage to that? resoning?

you mean to tell me that- to ride on that track you can only use water and no antifreeze? what would be the advantage or disadvantage to that? reasoning? Many people (Myself included) use only distilled water (i add some water wetter in there as well to help keep it cooler). The advantage of distilled only is if you blow a hose on the track or get a leak, you don't drip slippery glycol based antifreeze all over the track. its not quite as slippery as oil, but still slick. Antifreeze does just that, help your engine coolant stop from freezing and breaking things in your engine in the really cold months. It also does have some things in it to more effectively facilitate with the heat transfer... but i think water and a little additive works just as well if not better.
