Testing the waters for a noob dirt riding clinic.
I'm no Ty Davis or Rich Oliver, but here's what I can think of addressing:
- what is like riding on asphalt vs. what is different
- body positioning
- finding and managing traction
- cornering with the front wheel vs. rear wheel
- bermed turns vs. flat turns
- attacking whoops
- taking hits with the shock vs. forks
- climbing hills
- failing hills
- rocks
- sand
- snow
- obstacles
We need some experienced dirt bikers who can communicate with the noob dirt bikers.
BYO dirt bike and gear. Moonrocks, Lemmon Valley, or Pine Nut, depending on interest.

I know Karin would love to do this, but I think she is still out for the season from her Labor Day dirt crash. Her ankle is only just now getting some flexibility.

I have a couple dirtbike available (Gardnerville rides) trail or track. been riding dirtbikes for 5 yrs. I will participate on clinic, to recieve and give pointers. I have a lot of what NOT to do experience.
