For sure, I've been skiing on them for four years and not touched 'em.

Nooooooooooooo!!!!!! Clearly, you and I enjoy doing different things on a snowboard. For instance, it would appear there is relatively fresh, fluffy snow in the background of that photo, mere feet from the rider. Yet, for some reason, he is laying down carves on a groomer.

If someone wants to buy the mini gasser pop-up trailer that i have in my garage we could use mine... otherwise there isn't room for another bike or ski tuning in my garage. LOL

Ain't nuttin better than fresh pow pow on a 164cm board. I haven't done that in 10 yrs

Hard boots are the rollerblades of the snowboard world.
Discuss...

Disagree. They still have their place.

personally, i think the carving boards are awesome. though, i can see it being the Tele skiing of snowboards. "Why is that guy putting so much effort into turning?" "I dunno... You have to be a little nutty to tele/carve."

I think is pretty cool too. I have always wanted one; but not enough to seek it out/spend money on it. I tried one briefly once, it was hard. And the boots were uncomfortable.

I ski, tele, board depending on the day or year. I like all three. Conditions wise boarding is best in powder/soft snow, skiing in hardpack, tele in mixed conditions. Tele is more technical but not necessarily "harder work" depending on conditions. In mixed terrain they just kick ass. Let's go skiriding soon. SBK funday?

That's how ski boots always are! Lol I went skiing today with my team up at donner ski ranch(only place we could get hill space to set gates with enough snow)... First day up this year. Crashed hard the first run and tweaked my hip and shoulder. At least I got it out of the way early right?

I broke my wrist on a race course last year. You'll never see me running gates again.

On your board? With full gates or stubbies?

The one thing I miss about skiing downhill is running slalom gates. Shin to win!
