I think what you are looking for are called "Canyon Dancers". You can make them cheaply by just buying some 1" nylon strap at Home Depot then tying a good knot in it to make a loop.

if you do get some, dont use the ones with the plastic "cups" on the ends... ive seen them bend a few bar ends (probably from not adjusting them correctly, but...still)

I've been having problems walking my grips all the way up the bars! I dont strap them down tight enough to bend my bars, I HOPE!

There is no significant difference of pressure on the bars with the PVC caps, vs. straps vs canyon dancer. No need to collapse the suspension and bend bars.

He had said they bent the bar END, not the bar. I prefer the ones with the cups and have never had an issue. I don't like the original design as it destroys the grips and makes them slide around on the bars. Just my $.02

The "cup" canyon dancer are a better design. As Steve says the don't "walk" the grips up the bars and don't require steel-bending tension to work. He got me mine. Thanks Steve.

three months later. . . I agree that the cup design works better because the ones I have are just nylon and they eat the grips for breakfast unless you use a Baxley wheel chock.

What's a canyon dancer? I'm thinking of a bar sling too strap your bike in a truck?
