What makes a great track? Which would you want to have in your backyard?

Infineon as it is technical without any real long straights. So low horse power bikes which make the most of corner entry and exit speeds can compete with larger "point and shoot" bikes. the facilities at Infineon are fantastic and you just never know who might turn up to ride. So real "super fast" guys There is no place to "rest" at Infineon you have to be thinking and ready all the time. THill you can relax a little on the straight, RFR same thing. I imagine the same at Miller but have never been there. Laguna needs to get rid of all the noise shit then I might get a chance to ride there someday

Straits dont make for a good track. I think challanging, tight, diverse, and safe track are great tracks. Cant have it all though. My pick is Miller of Infineon.

I'm personally a big fan of T-Hill. For some reason I'm more comfortable with going fast than really tight corners. Sometimes its just a matter of who will hold the throttle on longer and on a "point and shoot" bike it is challenging. I have fun at pretty much all the tracks. They all offer different things. The facilities at Miller are phenomenal. The track is good too, but the drive kills it. And the price of a trackday. Sears isn't much better though on pricing. Laguna on the other hand is something to experience. I don't think you will ever find a track with more elevation changes than Laguna. If you can get out there it is worth it to experience it.

I'm not sure that any one of us qualifies as "super fast" but my favorite track is by far Miller. I like the facilities and the track layout is great. The paving is great and the speeds are unlike anywhere else.
My second favorite track is Buttonwillow. This track has a lot of character. No two corners are alike and it rewards the best all around rider.
Unfortunately my two favorite tracks happen to be the furthest away.

I had my best, funnest trackday there and I really found I had confidence that came together that I didnt know I had. since it is soo far away, I feel the next track I am In tune with Is T-hill. I can get a little bit of flow to come together thanks to Alans help!
