Daniel "suckerpunch" Jacobsen. (I use to be a fighter and just cant let go)  Just picked up a 1999 TL 1000R up here in Portland OR. I will be making a move back home to Carson city on July 15th. I picked a sport bike mainly because of its style and to help improve my nerdy image a bit (Im just a poser  ) I went with the TLR because of the V-twin power, sound, and unbelievable handling (it was really the price). Im defiantly a very social person and looking to do group rides, bike nights, and track days. ;D Im a noob here but, really want to get on the road with local riders soon. |

No the 775 sportbike forum didnt travel all the way up to Portland. I cant remember exactly how I found you. Was either a google search or referred by another local forum.

No, not I. Ive been out of the game for about 11 years. I mess around with friends from time to time but, nothing serious these days. I used to operate a small chain of karate schools around Reno, Carson, and Fernley in the late 90s. Now I just sit on my fat ass eating patato chips while watching the family guy.  |

Welcome Daniel, you like real social people and riding bikes you are definitly in the right spot. When you get in town try to make one of our bike nights on Monday. You can meet a large number of us. Then if you make it to the track you will probably meet everyone. Hope to see you around soon!!

Thanks, I would like to make a bike night but, I will be living in CC, and working 10-12 shifts all summer in Dayton. Just depends if I feel like shooting over VC to get to Reno.
Any meets in CC, or Reno on the weekends?

not CC that I know of. Just Minden/Gardnerville. Weekends we just ride... you can join us there too.
