I lack a creative avatar name, last name first initial. Most of the time though it reads dear-mash. I got the nick from my college e-mail address.
One day my teacher started berating the entire class about "some prankster 'Dear Mash' who must have hacked the system & started spamming her with e-mail". I sheepishly stood up saying it was me, but that it was my name & I had questions on assignments. Also that I hadn't heard back from her & now I think I know why.
Not nearly as cool as how I got the nickname "pieces" but perhaps a bit more positive.
Nice to meet y'all new people & familiar ones too.
