SSA will also be sponsoring local SSA racers #AFM181 Andy Allen,#998 Chris Ellis ,#AFM190 Justin Mastalka ,#805 Paul Lampron,#996 Peter Dieringer. All racers will recieve 50 dollars at the end of the race.

That is awesome, where do I apply? Is SBK775 offering sponsorship for local racers or just SSA?

$75 and $99 dollar track days is one way SBK775 has chosen to support all motorcyclists regardless of one's club affiliation or intent to race. It was the intent of the founders that this club was benefit ALL motorcyclists as opposed to a select few. We'll see if SBK775 sweetens the pot though

The only way to get better at racing is to race. Do it Simon. You won't regret the experience.

I just sent a message to Jerome about this. I just want to let everyone know over here, I'm trying to stay pretty neutral between the two clubs and will not be riding as an SSA racer. Visa will be sponsoring my race weekend with TTP.

Hey Peter. You should take the sponsorship! More power to you if Jerome is going to help you guys out. I wouldn't worry about staying neutral....take the opportunity to get some help. But then again, if you want to ride as an SBK racer.... LOL

Right now my manager is handling negotiations. We are looking over contract offers and finding what will be the best fit for me and my sponsors. Expect a press release in the near future.
