The event is canceled. "Do we provide a great experience for our friends, or do we risk their safety?" Not a tough decision!
The majority of preregistered riders are from Nevada and would have to contend with approx 12" of snow over the Sierra's. In an attempt to avoid making the sequel of 'The Donner Party' we are canceling the event and issuing full refunds
Chad, Josh, me, and the rest of the team at Precision Trackdays will always do our best to look out for you, regardless of the expense.

Well...if it did turn into the Donner Party, and since the main group was going to be traveling together, there would have been plenty to eat ;D

Thanks guys. I really didnt mind to ride in the rain, who cares. I was worried going over the pass with my trailer and bikes with 2+ feet headed on saterday. You all rock, I never got a refund from other providers. I will miss you all this weekend.

This cancellation is a very sound, and generous, decision. I thank Precision LTD for the effort they invested for this event. It brings me comfort to know that we will have a fair, safe, and honest provider this coming season in N. Nevada. VIVA PRECISION!!!!

Thanks for the compliments and all the support.
How can you ask your fellow moto-enthusiasts to choose between their own safety and $225 dollars?
How are we going to tell our fellow riders ''Sorry. We held the event and . . . it's not our fault you had an accident it's not our fault you don't have chains for your trailer. it's not our fault your wife didn't feel comfortable driving over the pass in 2 feet of snow it's not our fault that you were forced to sleep in Truckee due to highway closures.
There are 40 t-shirts, one for each of the preregistered riders. We made them to commemorate the event. . . Lol It's pretty funny ;D

We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.

We'll be running checks for those who paid by cash or check. They should be available tomorrow. I can mail them out if you PM or email me your address - or we can arrange to meet up. Want to make refunds available asap for everyone.
Again thanks for the support! More great things to come...

Good call! This is going to be a major storm. I would really like to get a set of wets and ride in the rain, just not during a major winter storm dropping out of the Gulf of Alaska and mixing with subtropical moisture. If you like weather science, this is a really good blog: tahoeweatherdiscussion.com/ Looking forward to the next one! I wonder why my avatar isn't showing up. I've tried lnking to the url a couple of times...

Thanks Rand! (help with your avatar is on the way) if i recall it's inputing the size under the url to 100x100. The weatherman just reported that there could be up to six feet of snow in some spots. Is the snowblower fueled up?
