The castrol Actevo is good oil and is one of the least expensive. The R4 that Greg runs is fully synthetic, while the Actevo is a synthetic blend. I've had the Actevo in the Streetbike and Trackbike since new and put over 20k mi on both. Have looked around in the motor and never seen anything out of the ordinary.

partially synthetic motorcycle oil. Motul, Actevo are good. Run the viscosity recommended in the manual.

Other than that... not much to it.

I have been plannign to try a mix of crisco and suntan lotion. Figure it will work just as good, right?
