I think he's hoping for something different. Some of us won't give Jerome any more money.

Yea it would be nice for us to do a track day I know we can get enough people to make it worth wild. Hopefully we can get one together by the end of the season Im sure people from scr would love to go and the more support we can give rfrt the better don't want to see that place shut down just get better!

the press release: August 7th and 8th The name of the club is Sportbike775 and can be found at www.Sportbike775.com or www.SBK775.comPricing packages are pretty sweet! It's a club, not a business so they aren't comfortable making money off of fellow riders. The goal of the club is to have a really fun, supportive, and friendly weekend. The more events scheduled, the more we all insure the tracks existence. Pricing: $120 per day $210 for weekend $240 for weekend w/ double sessions Ride the double session of your choice. If you brought a friend (or just met one who rides in a different group) you can now both go out together! ONE CONDITION. You need to ride the pace of the group you are visiting. 'A' riders will ride 'A' pace in their own group but maintain 'C' pace and etiquette when they're riding as a guest in their friend's group. There will be lots of track monitors to make sure you're riding with your pal, and not lapping 'em!!! There will be tons of support for our newer riders if you come solo. In fact if, you've ridden RFR this year, many of the monitors, grid marshals, and tech people will look familiar. The Sportbike 775 club is working hard. They were setting up paypal last I checked with them. There is an elected board in place and an experienced trackday committee making great strides to provide you a safe and fun weekend at RFR.

Was that it? It's been years since I've written press releases but I can probably do a nice job. What press will it go to? RRW?

We should send it to the RGJ, all the radio stations and anyone else we can think off. Reno News and Review get it put in their events section. Eric could be our Press Officer? ;D

Answer these questions:
-Who? (new motorcycle club) -What? (motorcycle trackday) -Where? (RFR road course) -When? (Aug. 7-8) -Cost? ($120-240)
Give the Who/What/Where/When in the lead paragraph. Provide details, like group segregation. Provide some quotes from an official. Provide some background information on the club.
I could bang something out if you want.

so who gets to ride for free? who is riding on a reduced rate? who can I sleep with, work for, and or generally prostitute myself to for some special treatment? Rules for any of this? Inquiring minds want to know
